As a reward for our successful Make-A-Wish fundraiser, Mrs. Holtry’s Art students were able to sketch three live domestic animals this year. The students were introduced to Taika , a Samoyed, Tali, a calico, and Anya, a black cat. Mrs. Holtry’s students were disciplined in their approach to the live sketch! They showed determination and focus while capturing the details of the animals.
This is not the first time we have seen one of them! Back in 2020, students were able to sketch Taika as a puppy. Some of Mrs. Holtry’s students were able to compare their sketches of Taika from before the Spring school closure of 2020 to their sketch this year!
