Patrons of Indian Hills Middle School,
Parent/Teacher conferences are next Monday and Tuesday evenings. Monday, February 28th will be our in-person night, hosted in open house format. Teachers will be available 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Tuesday, March 1st will be a virtual night with teachers available for appointments 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Appointments can be made through Canvas on individual teacher pages. Additionally, please remember that Friday, March 3rd will be a compensatory day, so there is no school.
It has been brought to our attention that being able to schedule virtual conferences for Tuesday, March 1st has caused some frustration. To alleviate any stress that this may have caused, please use these step-by-step instructions.
- Sign into your student’s Canvas
- Go to the Calendar (left side of page)
- Change calendar to March (top left of page)
- Under “Appointments”, Click Find Appointments
- Select Course will appear, use the arrow to select the course you want to schedule a conference for and click “Submit”
- Available conference times will appear on March 1st for the course you selected
- Click on the time you wish to schedule
- Add comments (if applicable) and click Reserve
- To schedule additional conferences, click Close under “Appointments” and start at step 4.
Scheduled conferences will then appear in the course color on your student’s calendar.
