Hoping to hear more at the District Levels meeting on Thursday.
We have an admin intern doing some research on how much technology is being used in a 15 minute period. Looking at time on devices. She’s been in 38 classrooms already.
31% of the time was spent on devices (assessments, activities, etc.)
Focusing on effective learning practices balanced with technology usage
Ms. Griffin: asked if the admin intern visits are surprise visits or planned.
Ms. Karren explained that those are all surprise visits so teachers were not informed of when she would observe their classroom.
Next Meeting: September 8th (2nd Tuesday each month for 2026-27)
