Our Warriors represented Indian Hills Middle School incredibly well at the district’s Book Blitz competition! IHMS brought two teams: The Banana Splits and The Book Nerds. Our school also had three students who read all 20 books this school year. Those three students competed individually at the district level.
The results blew us away! For the district individual competition, Mary Grant took first place! Congratulations, Mary! Your hard work paid off.
For the team competition, it came down to a tie-breaking round of questions. After earning 39 points, the Banana Splits tied again for first place at 51 points with a team from Union Middle School. Bella Hansen, Hannah Bemel, Izzy Rhoades, and Mary Grant took home 1st place for the team competition! Way to go!
It was a great day filled with challenging rounds of questions at Midvale Middle School. It was fun to see the teams from IHMS compete against teams from across the district.
