6th graders were introduced to a day at Indian Hills Middle School today! Through the WEB program, 8th grade students mentor each new 6th grade student by introducing them to other 6th graders, introducing them to the teachers and staff at IHMS, giving them a detailed tour of our campus, and helping them accomplish the hardest thing in middle school–opening a locker.
The day started with a red carpet entrance where each student was met with cheers and applause from their 8th grade WEB leaders.
After finding their name tag, students headed to the Kiva to hear about the orientation day and to meet their WEB teachers, Mrs. Butcher, Mr. Pulsifer, and Mrs. Hamilton. 6th graders left the Kiva and headed to their WEB groups.
Thank you to all the WEB leaders who helped welcome our new 6th grade students.
We are so thankful for all the hard work these three put into the WEB orientation. Mrs. Hamilton, Mrs. Butcher, and Mr. Pulsifer, you are an amazing part of our faculty at Indian Hills Middle School.
