Brand new to IHMS this year is the Student Center’s Community Club! Community Club aims to improve school climate by: increasing school connectedness, supporting the development of relationship and communication skills, increase feelings of belonging and community, and decreasing student stress levels through structured play.
Club meetings will be held every other Thursday from 3-4pm in the cafeteria. Each meeting will offer one structured activity that all members participate in, including a 4-Square Tournament, Spaghetti/Marshmallow building challenge, lawn games, crafts, and more! One quieter alternative activity will also be offered as space allows.
All students are welcome and sign-ups and/or consistent attendance are not necessary. Please arrange to pick up your student promptly at 4pm. Students seeking peer connection (ie. new students, students looking to expand their social circle, etc.) are especially encouraged to participate.
