Annette Alley

Hello! My name is Annette Alley and I am interested in serving on the School Community Council.  I have 4 kids and my oldest is now in 6th grade at Indian Hills.  I have volunteered during my children’s time in elementary school and have been involved with the PTA.  Along with helping at the school level, I have 13 years of experience as an elementary school teacher and now I am currently an Academic Director at a mental health treatment center for girls with anxiety and OCD.  I feel passionate about helping students of all ages and have many years of experience doing so.  I also have many years of experience working with parents and keeping them up to date on their child’s school and activities. I feel I would be an excellent candidate for this position being a parent and educator.

Mindy Capullo

My name is Mindy Cupello. I have an 12 year old daughter, Claire Cupello, that will be in 7th grade at Indian Hills this school year. I am interested in being a part of the SCC so I can stay involved in what is going on at the school. I previously served on the SCC at Sprucewood Elementary and as the PTA President there as well.  Last year I was the first alternate to the IHMS SCC and attended every meeting, so I already have knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of the position.  Please keep me in mind for one of the open positions for the SCC school year 2022-2023.

Merinda Cutler

I am interested in serving on the SCC for Indian Hills. My son Henry is in 6th grade this year, and I served on the Crescent Elementary SCC last year (and will continue this year). My husband and I have six children, ages 4 to 22, so we have many years of experience in the public schools both here and in Texas. I have a degree in Secondary English Education, have served in several parent organization positions in Texas schools (we moved to Utah in 2020), have been doing legislative advocacy work with Mormon Women for Ethical Government this year, and have worked in social services, ESL teaching, and immigration work in several capacities over the past few years.

Michael Mayall

My name is Michael Mayall and my son is Micah who is a 6th grader there Indian Hills.  I attended the opening night last week and you expressed a desire/need for people to join the School Community Council.  My wife Teresa served as PTA President in 2020 at Lone Peak Elementary and continues to be active within the school system.  While I have assisted my wife in her efforts with the school work, I personally have not committed in the past to taking an official role. Perhaps it is time for me to change that. I have spent the last 28 years in the film/adhesive business which involves many areas of management and consulting in sales, operations, mergers and acquisitions.  Today I serve on the leadership team of our company as head of Corporate Development for XPEL (Nasdaq: XPEL).  Within this capacity I also run point on our sports initiatives with our partners on the racing side in IndyCar and NASCAR.  We are a partner with Team Penske (NYSE: PAG) on the IndyCar side and also partner with SMI (Speedway Motorsports, LLC).  Both organizations are incredible with giving back to the community in so many ways and my involvement extends into those areas as well.

My background in working with children primarily evolves around the baseball field.  I have coached and co-coached several teams over the past 6-7 years and today coach Micah’s Club Baseball team where I have also setup a 501c3 to support the initiatives of this amateur sports team.  Working with kids is rewarding to help them develop/grow into young adults. I feel there are so many great things the sport teaches about working hard, working together, overcoming obstacles, learning that life is filled with losses and victories and how to embrace both, learn from them also and live in the moment.

Parker Smith

My name is Emerson Parker Smith, I am a local general contractor for Next Step Remodeling. I have four children, one at Alta View Elementary, one at Sunrise Elementary, one at Indian Hills, and one at Edgemont. My wife and I are divorces’ and run our lives out of White City. We have loved our community and wish to do more. Thank you for the opportunity.
